We came upon this while searching for objects that rarely belong anywhere at first, but feel extraordinary once they do, the kind you don’t find on catalogue pages. This bookshelf draws inspiration from the fishing vessels found along India’s coasts, boats that once moved with tides, monsoons, and muscle memory.
Shaped like half a wooden boat resting upright, softened and reshaped into a shelving piece that brings a quiet sense of grounding into a space. The Last Oar itself becomes less about storage and more about anchoring memory, reminding us that endings are not losses, but transformations.
